Published Short Stories

Here is a list of my previously published short stories with links to either the site or the retailer.

‘Mountains’ has been published on Bookends Review. It’s story about kids on the cusp of adulthood.

‘Only Seven Summers’ is about how adults view life changing incidents of children. How it impacts the parents and not necessarily the children involved.

It was published in Platform for Prose.

England’s Future History is a collection of short stories I edited. It started as a competition whereby people had to write about England’s future. But once a story was accepted it was set on the future timeline – so other entries had to take this new information into account.

My short story – Colours – was selected to be part of this anthology. It’s one of my favourite pieces about a grumpy old man who discovers a new colour in his garden.

The Last Hotel was used as part of Rowntree Park’s Words from a Bench competition. It’s about the last hotel in a Britain where the rain no longer stops. Read it here.
